	Joey - Alexandrine My name is Joey and I am a really nice little male Alexandrine. I was loved in my last home, but due to circumstances I am now on the hunt for another wonderful family to be part of. I am quite a shy individual, until I get to know, and trust you. I love fruit, and veggies, am a good eater, but need to have perhaps a pellet diet as a supplement. My foster mum is trying to get me to have Harrisons, but it is a bit of a chore. I love to chew on wooden toys, so anything that you can get, or make for me, will encourage me from being bored. I need stimulation. 	Amos and Andrew - Parrotlets Hi, there. We are Amos and Andrew. We are two wee parrotlets and we are brothers. Since we’ve been together since we were hatched, we prefer to stay together. We haven’t had a lot of human interaction, but if you were able to spend some time with us, we might come around. For now, we love to just hang out in our cage and play. We snuggle together at night and have a favourite swing we like to play on. We absolutely love our fresh fruit and veggies with brown rice and cooked grains! Mmmmm! 	Crackers - Goffins Cockatoo Hello my name is Crackers. I am a fun loving 3 year old Goffins Cockatoo! I am a DNA sexing male that loves life to the fullest. I eat pellets and currently I am working on fruits and veggies ( I am interested in whatever you are eating most of the time). Let me tell you... food always tastes better when dipped in water or fished out of the water dish. I love to dance! I really get into it if you dance with me and we can both look silly. There is nothing more fun for me than goofing off with toys! I like to keep myself entertained with everything I can get my beak onto. I have started to explore and realized there is life outside of the cage and I can't get enough of it! I enjoy the outdoors safely on my cage, I really do enjoy sitting out in the sun and getting misted. I can be shy of strangers but I promise I won't let you down if you give me a chance. I am a handsome charming young fellow who will bring lots of laughter into your life.
	Kirby - Cockatiel My name is Kirby and I am a male Cockatiel about 4 years old. In the past I have been mistreated, so I will bite, and can be a handful to take care of. I am really hoping that there is someone out there that will give me another chance, get me to learn to trust again. It always is bewildering to me, why people want to stick their fingers in front of my face, and wiggle them, or thru the bars of my cage. It really did not help my disposition, and if it happened to a human, you would get your dander up as well. Teasing is a form of abuse, and that was my problem, and it hurt me a lot. I know that somewhere in my wee Cockatiel heart, there is a good boy just wanting to find someone to love, and be loved in return. 	Tony and Nancy - Lovebirds We are Tony, and Nancy, wonderful little Lovebirds. We are in search of a loving home and family that we can share our lives with. 	Oliver - Cockatiel My name is Oliver, and I am a great little male Cockatiel. I am not the youngest on the block but still have about 10 years left in my life span. 	Frasier - Cockatiel Well, I am a male Cockatiel that has not had any training whatsoever. That could change in my foster home, but for now I am not interested in stepping up, for anyone. 	Tweety - Cockatiel I am a female Cockatiel called Tweety. I had been with the same wonderful caregiver, until a short time ago. My friend died, and so here I am, looking for that someone special again. With all the stress, I have picked under my wings and a bit on my back, but I am still beautiful. I have been really socialized, and will step up for you, and I love to have attention paid to me. 	Sweetie - African Silver Bill Finch I am an African Silver Bill Finch, called Sweetie. I did have a mate, but unfortunately she died. I was placed into the Greyhaven program with hopes, to find another of my kind, or similar, to hang out with. It does get lonely being the only guy in the cage....I would do really well in a very large flight. I am just a really tiny little guy, so you have to really know with what others of the Finch family, I will do well with. I need to make friends. Again, please no breeding. 	Amber - Lovebird I am a very beautiful year old Lovebird called Amber. I am a very nervous little one, so I need a home where it is calm and peaceful. I cannot be in a busy household, for it would be, over the top for me. I love to be out of my cage, and although I am not a good flier( had my wings trimmed incorrectly, before I came into the program) hopefully they will grow back soon, so I can do a bit of exploring. 	Riley - Parrotlet Hi and my name is Riley. I am a really nice little guy that is now on his own, due to unforeseen circumstances. I am not hand tamed, but am willing to learn. 	Charise - Budgie My name is Charise and am a young female Budgie. Danita and I came from the same home, where we were never out of our cages. Consequently I am in the same boat as she, with my weight and exercise. We both have tried flying, but it is really difficult to get the tail feathers up in the air. We do alright, but it is tiring. Much easier to sit on a play station, and watch everyone else coming, and going. There are a number of us Budgies in our foster home so we do get out as much as we can, but it would be wonderful to have a home, and family that would love me and make time for me. 	Danita - Budgie My name is Danita, am about a year old, and a female Budgie. I was not allowed to be out of my cage in my last home, so as you can see, I am just a bit pudgy. No exercise, and a lot of food, has done me in, so to speak. I am now in foster with Greyhaven, and have had the opportunity of getting out more. I still cannot get airborne, but that will take time, and a little more will power, than I have right now. I would love to be in a permanent loving home, where that all may happen for me. 	Hailey - African Grey Hi my name is Hailey and I am an African Grey. My band showed me as 09/08, and I am a beautiful bird. I like to play with my toys, and hang upside down on my cage bars. That is, when I am in my cage. I like being out a lot as well. Bottom line is, I just love having a good time. Just getting a feel of my life, and all that goes with it. I do step up but am still nervous. I will not do well with small children nor in a busy household for it is too overwhelming for me. I recently have had my diet changed and that is a good thing. My old diet was sunflower seeds, which was extremely bad. I now am getting into better shape with fruit and veggies along with Harrisons pellets. Whomever is the lucky one that will be adopting me, must have knowledge of our species, diet etc. Greyhaven will only be accepting application for adoption forms, and I will remain in my foster home, until we find just the right place for me to be happiest in. 	Daisy and Jack - Cockatiels We are 6 year old Cockatiels called Daisy, and Jack. Both Jack and I step up, and are wonderful little feathered souls. We do not create havoc, nor are loud. 	Merlin - Maroon Belly Conure The name is Merlin and I am a 6 year old Maroon Belly Conure. We are not sure if I am a male or female, but that should not matter. I am however, a very nice little feathered companion. I used to be very socialized but of late I have not been out of my cage a lot, so am a little nervous. All it would take is a loving human companion, that has a little patience, and I will blossom again. I am not used to eating other than seed, so it will be a challenge for both us to have my diet changed, and that needs to happen. 	JoJo - Green Cheek Conure My name is JoJo and I am a Green Cheek Conure about 2 years old. My former human companion loved me a lot, but formed allergies so we had to part. 	Sparky - Blue and Gold Macaw I am looking for a kind, and loving home to be in for the next 40 or so years. Have I captured your attention yet? Being about 15 years old, I will have a lot of years ahead of me, and hopefully, they all will be kind ones. It is difficult finding a great home for us large species, for the longevity is a huge commitment. Plus you must have knowledge of our species, as well, a lot of time, to socialize with us. We truly are like small children that never grow up. We can be loveable, and fun, but the flip side is loud, and at times cranky. 	Bijou - Kakariki My name is Bijou and I am such a pretty Kakariki. I am 4 years old and a sweet little feathered companion. It is really nice to be able to have free flying time out of my cage and although I am not happy with human hands I will land on your shoulder or head whichever looks the best place to me at the time. In order to have me in your life it is imperative that you know about my species. I have to have fruit and veggies in my diet on a daily basis. I am very fast on my feet and am considered quite the road runner when I want to be. With that in mind I do not do well with cats or small dogs. 	Emma - Budgie Hi and my name is Emma. I am about a year old and a very active little girl. Having a lot of get up and go attitude, it would be wonderful to be adopted to a family that would let me have exercise, and be able to fly. There were 4 of us wee Budgies that all came in together. We are not bonded to each other, however we are flock birds, and really enjoy the company of our own kind. 	Sarah - Budgie Hi from Sarah. I am about a year old, and a very nice little girl. I love to fly (not that good at it) as I have not had a lot of practice. We did not get out of our cage in our last home, so my flight muscles are not that good. With practice I certainly will get better. It is fun to play with the toys that are in our flight cage, and the other Budgies that are here with me, are great. We do have a good time chattering to each other. Our favorite time of the day is in the morning when we get our fresh fruit and veggies. The broccoli florets and the carrot sticks, as well as lettuce leaves are our favorites. 	Jasper - Budgie My name is Jasper, and I am a baby Budgie. I came to Greyhaven with three of my sisters, who also are on the Greyhaven web site. We are about 8 months old, and really sweet little guys. I would love to be with a human family where they will love me forever. 	Jill, Gina and Samantha - Budgies Hi, from the three sisters. Our names are Jill, Gina and Samantha and are about 8 months old. We love to fly (still are not that great at it) we were in a cage for most of our lives, until we came to Greyhaven. Jasper our brother, is in this picture but he already has a separate bio. We are not bonded, so as long as there are other Budgies that we can be friends with, we can be adopted out separately. We really would love to stay together, even two of us but that is up to you. 	I am a 13 year old Blue and Gold Macaw. Because I am a big bird a lot of people are a little apprehensive of me, but I am truly a great companion. We are like the gentle giants. We are however quite loud at times so you will have to have the appropriate place for us to all be in. Apartments will not cut it so please do not even think about it. You must have done some research on our species and be willing to work with me so the we can bond. Due to my moving around I have become stressed and have picked out some of my chest and leg feathers. Although I have done that, it is not to say that they will not come back once I have found a wonderful and loving family to be part of. 	Harvard - Cherry-headed Conure We are looking for someone very special, to adopt and love a very special little Cherry-headed Conure. Harvard is mature in years and has endured more than his share of stress and instability. While his essential sweetness has endured, he is slow to trust, and may trust males more quickly than females. Due to an ongoing medical condition he will require close monitoring and regular veterinary care, although he is doing fine right now. Because of both his personality and his medical condition, it is imperative that he be the only bird in your household, now and forever. Who are you? 	Scooter and Tippy - Lovebirds We are Scooter and Tippy, two wonderful little Lovebirds that are a about a year old. Greyhaven is not sure if we are siblings or not as we came from a home that had multiple Lovebirds. Although we are not finger trained to step up we do not bite. We both, are little naive souls. It would only take a short time to socialize us both. It will take patience, and love, but the rewards of the bonds of trust are wonderful. We would really like to be part of a family again. 	Babette, Lucky, and Lucy - Budgies Hi from the 3 of us. We all are part of the group that came into the Greyhaven program due to our wonderful human companion being unable to care for us any longer. 	Pumpkin - Lovebird UPDATE: Hi! Thought that I would give you a new update on how I am doing since being admitted into the Greyhaven program. I went into foster care to have more socializing happening as I was a bit of a brat to begin with. I now will step up and do not wish to bite as long as I am away from my cage. 	Simon and Brody - Fischers Lovebirds We are two wonderful little Fischers Lovebirds that are just over a year old. We are gentle souls that have not been socialized so we are not used to hands nor stepping up, or sitting on a shoulder. We are however super little guys that need love and a family to be part of. If you have time to spend with us and are able to commit to our well being, it would be great. We need to be out of our cage as flying is important for all of us feathered ones.
